Applications to become a professional member of the IAB (UK based)

Those applying to enter membership via the experience route (rather than via qualifications) will also be required to pay an additional one off fee which will be advised upon receiving the application or a membership enquiry.

If you are in practice in the UK then you must also be supervised under the Money Laundering Regulations. If you do not hold this with another approved professional body you will need to apply to the IAB for either a certificate of AML Supervision or Practising Certificate (depending on your level of membership).
AML supervision | £175 |
If you are providing bookkeeping, accounting or payroll services to the public on a self-employed basis.
To apply for either of the above certificates with the IAB you will first need to join as a professional member.
